Return & Refund Policy

1. 30-Day Return Window

Returns must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date of your item. Requests made after this window will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

2. Authorization Required

All returns must be pre-approved. You must email hello@packbyplace.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending any items back. Please ensure this RMA number is clearly marked on your return shipment. Packages sent without a valid RMA number will be rejected and returned to the sender.

3. Conditions & Shipping

  • Change of Mind: Items must be unopened, factory-sealed, and in their original packaging to qualify. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and ensuring the item arrives safely.
  • Defective or Damaged Items: If your item is defective upon arrival, it must be returned with all original components and serial numbers intact. PackByPlace will provide a prepaid shipping label and cover all return costs in these instances.

4. Restocking Fees

A 20% restocking fee applies to all opened, non-defective items that are approved for return. Items returned in a condition that prevents them from being resold (e.g., damaged packaging or missing parts) may be subject to a higher fee or a denied refund.

5. Non-Returnable Items

To ensure the health and safety of our customers, the following items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Gift cards.
  • Personal care items (e.g., air purifiers with broken filter seals, hygiene products).
  • Note: Exceptions are made only if the item is confirmed defective upon arrival.

6. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the credit has been issued.
